Ann Ladson uses traditional metalworking techniques through an intuitive and artful design process. All work is done by hand from start to finish. She begins with a sketch, fleshed out in wax or metal, that is then cast in Vermont by artisans who modify techniques and solutions for the specific needs of each design.
Each piece is forged and raised, soldered, then cast and finished by hand.
