Details
Made in Belgium.
Designed by Belgian sculptor Anita Le Grelle, the Terres des Rêves (Land of Dreams) line of tableware for Serax is rendered in various shades that reference the earth, sky, and ocean. Stoneware pieces are characterized by different layers of glaze and natural imperfections.
In 2013, Le Grelle dismantled one of her older sculptures and with the salvaged clay, made a mold in the shape of a bowl, and then a plate, and then piece by piece, a line of tableware, her first foray into utilitarian pottery.
Color of smoky blue is intended to vary slightly from one piece to another.
