Made in Belgium.

A set of tableware by British architect John Pawson was first designed for the refectory of the Abbey of Our Lady of Nový Dvur in Bohemia. The monastic set “demonstrates the potential for lyricism in restraint.” Plates are near-flat surfaces that elevate above the tabletop and bowls are designed with a simple curve. “I seek the comfort of exactness, an absolute precision of scale and proportion.”
