Inspired by the European country tradition of keeping butter soft and spreadable, our MARCH butter bell is made of white glazed ceramic.
To use, fill the lid with a standard stick of butter and add 3/4 inch of very cold water to the base of the bell so that when put back together, the airtight seal ensures freshness. Can be kept out of the refrigerator on the countertop for more than a week, but water must be changed daily.
