Japanese craftsman and designer Masashi Ifuji creates in functional, handmade wooden objects using traditional techniques and minimal forms. Based in Matsumoto, Nagano prefecture, Ifuji specializes in oval storage bins using the original templates and time-honored methods from the 19th century Shaker communities of America.
