Only at MARCH

Navy chambray linen napkins part of a collection inspired by heritage denim by Peter Speliopoulos for MARCH. Navy threads woven with white feature tonal hemstitch detail reflecting the threads of denim jeans. Linen fabric is collected from looms in Belgium, Ireland, and Italy and sewn by artisans in rural Umbria.

From Peter Speliopoulos, a multidisciplinary artist living and working between New York and Patmos, Greece who previously worked with Christian Dior and as creative director of Cerruti Arte and Donna Karan. With a studied understanding of texture and the artistry of color, Speliopoulos creates pieces to provoke the senses. Working in leather, suede, shearling, and clay, individual pieces explore the balance between primitive and contemporary: “a respect for history with the forward motion of modern life.”
