Made in Portugal.
A chunky serving jug with an outsized handle cast in stoneware. Finished in a matte cream glaze featuring a subtle, speckling effect. Designed by Faye Toogood as part of the Dough ceramics collection, named for the common ground of kneading in both baking and pottery. Hand-shaped in the Toogood studio in London before being cast in stoneware, the collection plays with rounded, swelling forms evocative of rising dough.
Faye Toogood is a British artist and designer with a background as editor and stylist for The World of Interiors in London. Her work is multidisciplinary and distinct with an “honesty to the rawness and irregularity of the chosen material.”
