A pasta bowl in hand-painted blue inspired by the fluid draughtsmanship of painter Henri Matisse. Handmade in the village of Tunis in the Fayoum Oasis, south of Cairo, Egypt. Hand-thrown and glazed in the style of Fayoum pottery which traditionally focuses on illustrated narrative patterns and bold color combinations.
From a small company founded by two Ecuadorian women living in Cairo, Egypt with a focus on hand-drawn thread work and traditional Egyptian craft.
