Indigo Quilted Kantha Throw

A hand-quilted kantha throw made of various weights of recycled cotton fabric. Made using indigo-dyed fabric remnants, the zero waste textile is made in the kantha style traditional to India where contrast running stitches create a textural quality. Designed and made in collaboration with groups of artisans across rural India. Underside of quilt features cream-colored cotton fabric.

Hand wash separately in cool water. Iron or steam with warm heat. Do not bleach. Avoid exposing fabric to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in color. Note that color bleeding is normal in naturally-dyed fabric; colors will stabilize after initial washes.
