A folding drying rack in white oak by Japanese craftsman Masashi Ifuji made using the original Shaker templates and traditional techniques. Inspired by the utilitarian items of the American Shakers, the rack can be used for utility or for display. When folded, the rack stores away neatly, when out, it can be used to dry bath towels, used as a partition, or to hang linens and clothing.

Based in Nagano, Japan, Ifuji reproduces old objects from various cultures as “a guide into tomorrow by making lessons of the past.” Unique and essential pieces are made by hand and designed to be used often.
