Deborah Ehrlich has been designing exquisite and simple crystal glassware since 1999. For her first furniture design, Ehrlich was tasked with creating something to embody the feeling of people sitting down to share ideas. Inspired, she thought of openness, optimism, lightness, and strength.
To ensure the construction mirrored the attributes of her crystal, Ehrlich partnered with an award-winning RISD graduate. They settled on both Hickory and Ash for their strength and lightness, and implementing hidden joinery for elegance that rivals Ehrlich’s fine crystal.
