Handmade in England.
Two large parallel forms handwoven in English Willow by Annemarie O’Sullivan, a former Irish champion swimmer turned artist and basketmaker living in East Sussex, England.
Working in baskets, trays, and sculpture, O’Sullivan’s pieces are handwoven from materials she grows and gathers on her land. Employing techniques used for hundred of years, her forms are a response to the traditions and surrounding landscape of rural England.
The sculpture includes both small and large forms.
Small - 16”L x 16”W square bottom, 56”H, 5”Dia at top
Large - 21”L x 21”W square bottom, 77”H, 6”Dia at top
