Imagined by Belgian designer Marie Michielssen, the La Mère line of tableware for Serax is a paean to the mother figure and the intuitive roles women have fulfilled in family life throughout generations. Characterized by irregular shapes that are shaped by hand, each piece is finished in a warm off-black glaze.
