Made in France.

An essential French 19th century stoneware chicken roaster, with black glazed interior and matte bisque exterior. The stoneware bowl allows heat to rise and roasting juices to collect and caramelize vegetables below. A whole chicken is placed on the center pick and pushed down to achieve a well-cooked chicken that is soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside.

Designed by Guillaume Bardet for Malle W. Trousseau, a collection of practical French and European-made cookware and utensils. Every chicken roaster is shaped and enameled by hand by a French stoneware manufacturer.
