A large, limited edition vase from London-based designer Max Lamb. The Crockery series is made of fine bone china slip-cast from plaster molds with a glazed interior and raw exterior that exposes the texture of the plaster original. Using the tools of a stone mason, Lamb chips and carves a solid block of plaster to make a jug, bowl, or mug that informs the eventual piece rendered in bone china (52% calcified bone, 25% Cornwall clay, and 3% ball clay from Devon and Dorset).
Made in Staffordshire, England, crockery is now ready for service.
