Made by Bay Area-based Sarah Kersten Studio. Intended to simplify the process of vegetable fermentation, each high-fired ceramic jar is lined with a food safe glaze and designed with a water seal for an oxygen-free fermentation environment.

To use, pack prepped vegetables into the jar and fill the upper channel with water. Once the lid is placed into the water, ferments begin to create carbon dioxide and push oxygen out through the seal. Each jar includes weights, essential for the lacto-fermentation process, and a recipe booklet.
