Hand-painted porcelain cups inspired by Japanese "soba choko" traditional to households during the Edo period. Designed to be used as drinking vessels, for serving spices, or for dipping noodles.

Brooklyn artist Melissa Goldstein of MG by Hand takes inspiration from 17th century German and Japanese illustration for her hand-painted cobalt ceramic tableware. Patterns are adapted from Goldstein's drawings of the birds, flowers, and herbs found in her own garden.

Size may vary slightly as each piece is hand-thrown.
